Today I tried sparrow mail app. Wow, fantastic. It look like twitter client. We never thought about email is look like twitter. All of the mail app are boring design. Sparrow mail app change our mind. Sparrow mail can only use for gmail now. Of course, you can use with google app mail. There is no SMTP and IMAP function. However, it will be future support. Now,it’s beta 5. If you are gmail user, you must like this app and you will never use again Apple Mail app.

Boxee

In this day, we are joining TV with our laptop. So, we need a media center application for our laptop. Front Row is not a good app for media center and online movie. Boxee is a great for media center. We can watch most the the movie file type. We can watch youtube and many others. Of course , we can watch movie from facebook that share from friend. We can also subscribe some channel or some movie website.

If we don’t have a apple remote , don’t worry you can make remote with your iPhone , iPodTouch. Boxee have many application and you watch from internet channel. One nice feature is we can browser file with boxee. That is great. We use external HD with boxee. If you use Boxee, you need to login. That is a bad for no internet country or place.

Postbox Express

If you are searching light weight mail application for Mac, I recommend postbox express. Yes, Mail App already include in Mac OSX but it’s not light weight. Postbox Express is a free app and very light. You can also import mail account easily from Mail App. I like one feature in Postbox Express, it’s email thread like gmail. Mail doesn’t include thread mail app. You can check feature in there.

if you want to search in torrent, vuze is a nice for searching from torrent top sites.

LimeWire

LimeWire is nice for music searching and downloading from torrent.

Safari Extension

Safari Extension is available in US at previous week. But not available in Singapore and other country. Now, Safari Extension is available and you can check and install as you like. You just need one click to install. Safari Extension don’t have too much plugin. If you want to more , I recommend to go unofficial safari extension blog.

Lounge is a one of the twitter clients for mac. It’s nice and simple design. Of course, it’s only for mac. You can check your friend tweet, your tweet and also reply check. It also like other twitter client. However, it GUI is simple and clean design and easy to use. But auto refresh have at least 5 minutes. It’s not good for us. Sometime, we want to make at least 3 minutes and Lounge can’t do.

Most of the mac user know about that. It’s a IM Software for mac. It can be use Yahoo messenger, MSN, Gtalk and more. The great feature is we can add facebook status with Adium and it will notify you when message arrive in your facebook inbox. But we can’t chat with facebook account and it can do soon. Their developers are fixing pdigin facebook plugins. You can add one more account in there. You can chat yahoo,msn,gtalk and other jabber client in one place.

Gruml is a software for google reader. If you don’t want to go google reader website and you want the fetch the latest rss, you should use Gruml. In greader, you can share, you can like , you can share with note. Of course, Gruml can do like that. It can do what google reader can do. So nice RSS reader.It also include browser and you can double click on the RSS and you can browse in there. You can see other people share and you can add from Gruml , you can manage your folder. Oh! you can do all like greader. So, you don’t need to go greader website and don’t need to login all the time. Just add username and password in greader and you can fetch the data all the time. It can do automatically update the data and you can also do with manually. How nice!
